Apple Tablet Rumors and iPhone Apps

AppleInsider publish today a paper regarding new rumors of a Apple branded Tablet device. What is interesting about this is the possibility for this device to run the App Store and iPhone application unmodified... concurrently... I suppose this could be something like the Desk Accessories we use to have under Mac OS before Mac OS X.... This device would run a modified in-between version of Mac OS X not quite the version for Macs or iPhone but the same APIs.... I would be a taker for that one.
