Submitting iOS app with encryption - part 1

Today, I'm done with Ultimate Password Manager 2.3. I'm ready to submit to Apple for approval. The thing is this: using encryption inside an iOS application needs special treatment before being submitted to Apple for approval.

Since my application uses AES256, a symmetric encryption algorithm, I must declare this fact and submit a CCATS form. This is kind of unexpected and I will need to go through quite a bit of work.

I did some research on the subject of including encryption inside iOS applications and I found out this: "Mass Market Encryption CCATS Commodity Classification for iPhone Applications in 8 Easy Steps".  Read this post here.

I'm going to read carefully about this and keep you posted on the process.
